All about travel

It is not a secret for anyone that most people at least once in their life left the borders of their native settlement and traveled. Someone with a backpack to conquer Everest, someone makes a pilgrimage to Israel, and someone decides to explore the caves or forests in the neighboring area. Everyone chooses what he likes.
But why is it that man is so drawn to travel? What does he lack at home, in his native walls? And with what he returns home, in addition to tired legs, sun-bleached hair and a blissful smile? We will talk about all this with you right now.

Travel benefits

Awakens creativity. Creativity is a potential that is always inside us, but most often in a “sleeping” state. Our daily routine affairs reduce the ability to generate new ideas and solutions, preventing the creative beginning from “waking up”. Travel awakens the senses and activates the creative part of the brain. We see, hear, feel, try something that we have not encountered before. As a result, new ideas, thoughts, solutions and inspiration appear.
Improved cognitive processes. The new environment encourages us to use more brain resources than usual. We: study maps and new routes, plan and organize trips and excursions, notice new nuances and details around. As a result, the ability to concentrate increases and spatial intelligence awakens.
There is a flexibility of thinking. Studies have proven that those who travel from time to time solve problems and cope with various difficulties 20% more efficiently. Travel and travel "discover" the ability to find non-standard solutions and trade-offs in everyday life. Also, a new setting expands the comfort zone and helps to cope with some fears.
The number of neural connections in the brain increases. The new impressions and experiences that you receive while traveling create new neural connections in your brain. This increases the content of dopamine and serotonin, improves cerebral circulation. Traveling is one of the best sources of energy for the brain, which not only activates new cells. Fresh air and natural landscapes also refresh feelings and improve memory in a unique way. Research results published in the journal Environmental Psychology proved that memory improves even when viewing images with natural landscapes. And, of course, the effect is enhanced when you are physically in nature, and not just look at the pictures.
Reduced stress levels. It doesn't matter if you go on vacation for a few weeks or just for a picnic outside the city. In any case, these impressions relax and reduce the level of stress. Moreover, the process "starts" already when you are just starting to plan a trip. Traveling increases cortisol levels in the body and reduces stress hormone levels. A change of scenery helps to see the world more vivid and rich, and this makes us happier.

How to choose a country for vacation, based on their finances

There are two options: you are limited or not. If you belong to the second category, then you can safely move on to the next item. If not, then in order to choose a country for rest / travel, it is necessary to determine the items of the estimated costs and analyze each. In total, you need to calculate the preliminary budget, assess and match your needs with your capabilities. So, the estimated cost items:
Flights. Here the key are the range, the popularity of the flight, the overweight of baggage and the time of purchase of the ticket.
Accommodation (hotels, apartments, villas, apartments). In different countries, prices can vary greatly.
Visa. This article may include: consular fee for a visa + transportation costs (if the consulate is in another city / country) + intermediary services (if you use those). Below we will return to this topic and consider it in more detail.
Insurance. The selected country does not significantly affect the cost of insurance. The type of insurance (coverage area) and the validity period will have a much greater effect on the price.
Nutrition. Here you will need to decide how and where you will eat: in local cafes, restaurants or planning to cook yourself.
Fare. This can be a rental car, domestic flights, taxi services, the cost of tickets for intercity buses, railway and urban transport.
The cost of excursions, entry to museums and other attractions, as well as other cultural and entertainment events.
Other expenses (souvenirs, gifts). Find out in advance the general price level of the chosen country for rest / travel. For someone, these expenses will be limited to buying two or three magnets, while others need to buy all the key chains, figurines, masks, scarves, carpets and slippers.

Why travel?

Everyone has their own personal way to rest and protect themselves from social noise: someone spends the evening with a glass of wine and a favorite book, someone with a TV remote control in hand, someone for talking with his family. There is another category of people who leave everything and go to new places for new impressions. “People go to travel for two reasons: because they want to find something or because they want to run away from something,” reads the quote from the book “Blame the Sea” by Lucy Clark. Disagree with these words is impossible. Perhaps, each of us once wanted to sharply break from his homeland and at least for a couple of days go to another city or country. Different people have different reasons for this, but someone really does it, and someone only thinks about it. And believe me, the first happier.
Albert Camus said that “travel, as the greatest and most serious science, helps us to find ourselves again.” And indeed, far from home, from familiar people, from all that is common and boring, we can rethink ourselves and our lives in a new way. Very often it is during our travels that the most true ideas, the right decisions and amazing discoveries come to our heads. The anticipation and feeling of something new always expands the boundaries of human thinking, helping to continue to look at familiar things from a different angle. Going on board the plane or in the train, we seem to be at the zero kilometer, from where all the roads are new and unexplored, and so eager to pass through them, that inside there is a pleasant quivering sense of anticipation of the adventure.
Adventure itself is one of the main reasons why people, like migratory birds, tend to hundreds of thousands to new places. We control everything so carefully in everyday life, so carefully write down goals and tasks in our diaries, so often check e-mail and social networks, that our life has become a super-structured system in which there is no place for spontaneity and dreams. In a journey, on the contrary, we can relax and let everything go to chance. Of course, there are people who manage to think everything up to a second on a trip. But, you see, it is so great sometimes to get lost with friends in an unfamiliar area with discharged phones and look for ways to go home; wander aimlessly through the old town and accidentally discover a picturesque place; to tears laugh, because your fellow traveler, stumbling, runs along the beach in an attempt to catch a hat blown by the wind. Follow the chance, enjoy the little things, meet new people, finally, to be yourself - the right way to enjoy life.
Traveling, we not only discard all unnecessary, but also expand our horizons. We never return from a trip the same people that were before. Once you leave your familiar comfort zone, as it inevitably begins to expand, you may soon have a whole world in your comfort zone! Surely you know a lot of creative people who travel frequently. For them, this is a kind of vital necessity, because changing the situation and discovering for themselves something previously unknown, they find inspiration and strength for new challenges. This rule applies to absolutely everyone, because fresh impressions can turn, well, or at least shake up the life of any person.

New Zealand

It is unlikely that there is such a person who would visit New Zealand and would not fall in love with this mysterious country. It is difficult to find another place where travelers would be so pleased with what they saw, starting with man-made masterpieces and ending with the wonders of nature. The nature here is really impressive: you will find here prehistoric forests, wide beaches, snow-capped mountains, and wonderful water sources.

Japan is a unique blend of tradition and innovation. The incredible religious and cultural heritage coexists side by side with the high-tech and architectural achievements of modern times. There are thousands of impressive Buddhist temples and altars throughout the country, most of which are located in Kyoto, a city known as the cultural capital of Japan.

The infrastructure of the Baltic pearl in recent years has improved significantly, in many cities undergoing major repairs. Especially worth noting is the capital of the country Riga, which was recently chosen as the cultural capital of Europe. Many travelers focus exclusively on this city, but the true spirit of Latvia is in the countryside, where you can find pristine lakes, emerald forests and sandy beaches.
